Bravada Yachts

One of the most exhilarating projects we have taken on as a company is Bravada Yachts, a custom lake yacht manufacturer located in Tolleson Arizona just a few miles out of downtown Phoenix. When we came into the picture Bravada was going through a major rebrand and design process in regards to their boats & company image. We worked alongside some brilliant minds like David Weiss, a designer of luxury super yachts to yield the content for the Bravada website. David helped the Bravada team redesign their models & produced awesome renders for the website that allowed us to create a bold website with proper functionality.

After our team finished reconciling and making the final changes to the website it was time for us to set up their Google & Facebook ads. Our team has been diligent on keeping up-to-date with the changes within the advertising industry because its quick moving. The consistent drive to be the best at what we do, has allowed us to already yield loads of contact form events and thousands upon thousands of video views and interactions on their social media platforms.

How We Helped A Healthy Restaurant Go From 6 to 7 Figures in 60 Days.

One of the coolest things to experience as a business owner in the service industry is to see your client succeed. This post is completely dedicated to our client ProteinHouse in Phoenix Arizona. PH has experienced massive success with multiple social media campaigns over the past year of working with us. In this blog, I’m going to cover the 5 things that we did that made their campaigns successful.

1.) High-Quality Content

  • One thing that many companies overlook while advertising is the quality of their content. Sure, there are apps that make videos for you, students that will do it cheaper and phones that don’t cost as much as a camera. The question you need to ask yourself if you're in this scenario then is “How important is the success of my business to me.” If you answered “important” to yourself, you should definitely invest in a professional doing your video content.

  •  It's not always about finding the best deal or hiring people that are the least expensive, but finding the people that understand the Why, How, What philosophy that Simon Sinek talked about in his famous TedTalk. It’s also about finding someone who understands the different placements sizes that this video will be displayed on. In regards to Facebook & Instagram, there are different placements that are designed for mobile viewing, desktop viewing etc… Make sure that when your content is being created that it is formatted correctly for facebook, that it fits Facebook's advertising guidelines and that it tells a story about your brand that a consumer can connect with. 

2.) Displaying To The Right Target Audience

  • There are a million and one ways to lose money while advertising online. One way which this often happens is the displaying of ads towards incorrect audiences. As a business owner, you really have to know who your customers are. Get to know them, their habits, their interests, and what else they do besides coming in and spending money at your storefront.

 These people are more than a number and you need to take that responsibility to get in their head and understand how to fulfill their needs not only with your food & customer service but your online presence.

  •  Facebook has one of the world’s most powerful AI’s that is highly dense and can tap into a lot of data. For ProteinHouse we sat down as a team with the owners/managers to discuss the ideal customer we wanted to display our ads to. After hours of research, discussion and contemplation we picked our target audience. Since ProteinHouse was started by professional bodybuilders and fitness influencers we knew that people interested in fitness, health, supplements, gyms, training, cardio, yoga etc..would be highly interested in eating at PH. Over time we were able to gather data from these people & create a custom audience, which allowed us to ramp up their video views online while hitting more people for a cheaper cost.

3.) Organization

  • Before we launched the campaign we planned out everything that we ended up doing. We planned out each shot, we embodied the target customer journey within the video, and we displayed the video to the right people, in the right location(s). All of this took strategic planning between our team & the ProteinHouse staff. Make sure that when you are preparing to launch your social media campaigns that you create a success list with tasks that get you to your goal. It is not about doing the most things, but doing the right things and realizing marketing is not as complex as it seems. Marketing is simply about getting in front of your customers face and continually reminding them that you are there and that you provide a valuable service that enhances their life. 

4.) Content Messaging

  • A huge aspect of content creation that must not be overlooked is the strategy behind the content. It's not as simple as just taking a video of your products and services but displaying your value in a way that is enticing to your customer. If you watch the video we made above for ProteinHouse you’ll see how we embodied the life of their “everyday customer”. Moving from the gym to the restaurant experience, food & drink options, customer service, the vibe of the restaurant itself & the variety of people within “the target market” that eat their daily. You’ll also notice that we did not aim to sell one thing in that video, we simply captured what was happening that day at the restaurant. If you click on the video link above and head to ProteinHouse’s Facebook, you’ll notice how simple the copy for the ad was. “Do You Eat With Purpose?” All we did was simply pose a question that was enticing enough for the target market to ask themselves, and it resulted in a conversion event. AKA they clicked and watched the video to find out what ProteinHouse was about. 

5.) Engagement With Customers

  • Something that boggles my mind is the number of people on social media that DO NOT engage with the people who comment and like your content. If people are engaging with you, engage with them back. Its apart of the natural flow of social media. In the age of 2018, everybody expects these “massive” results without putting in the work. The harsh reality is that these false expectations will do nothing for the growth of your business and if you want to win on social you need to learn how to run ads, create content & engage with your fans correctly & respectfully. One reason this ProteinHouse post has 569 shares and 392 comments within a 15 square mile radius of their location is that we engaged with the fans as they would comment and share the post. Thanking them by commenting back, liking their comments, following them on IG if they pushed out their own content while enjoying food at ProteinHouse.

Social Media Marketing Myths...BUSTED

Marketing online is not as complex as we make it out to be. Learning how to overcome your “limiting” beliefs on the subject of marketing on Social Media just may save your business. Or, if you are a social media/digital marketer learning how to overcome your potential clients limiting beliefs about marketing online will save you a ton of time attempting to convince people that they need something that they don’t yet understand. Below are the top five social media marketing “myths” that we busted for the sake of clearing up the mass confusion for our clients, friends, and colleagues.

1.) “I don’t need to market my company online”

The truth is you do. Realize that over 2 Billion people use Facebook every single day. Realize that over 1.2 billion searches are generated DAILY on YouTube. Instagram has over 800 million monthly active users. No TV commercial, magazine ad, or radio blip you pay for can reach that vast array of people. The best part is that when you pay for advertising on a social media platform like Facebook you can advertise directly to your demographic to an eerily creepy degree. 2.) “Facebook Ads Don’t Work”

Myth. The truth is Facebook ads are the cheapest way to advertise right now. If you really know what you are doing you can get video views for as low as .01/cent per view. When you combine that fact with the 2 billion active users DAILY it is the most effective, targeted marketing tool to use on EARTH. The only reason you may not have had success is that you don’t know how to build out true ads on the back end of Facebook’s business manager. Or you were probably not spending enough money over a correct amount of time to get the results you wished to see. Just like a cake, if you miss an ingredient in running ads you can mess up an entire campaign in a matter of a few clicks.

3.) “I don’t think I need videos for my marketing campaigns”

The truth is you do need to leverage video. Regardless of your personal preference the easier you make it for people to find you the more success you will have.A video is the simplest way to show your customer what you can do for them that allows them to solve a problem they are facing. If it is a restaurant, dentist, or gym when you can capture a customers attention in a few seconds and connect with them on an emotional level where they feel a bond with you, you’ve won. This becomes super powerful when you run ads to your video because Facebook gets over 8 BILLION daily video views. The truth is, your company deserves a good chunk of those views.

4.) “I don’t need an Instagram account for my business”

Myth. Instagram is owned by Facebook and the ads you build on Facebook can be directly transferred to Instagram. Remember, 800 million people are active on Instagram monthly. This is a HUGE chunk of people that you can advertise too. Especially if you have great visual content. Instagram is a space where you can directly plugin with your customer and connect with them on a more personal level than any other social media platform to date. Simply put, do not allow the rubbish from other people dictate you towards not using social because you think it “can’t” work. You do not know something until you live it, so give it a shot.

5.) “I can just post and people will engage”

Myth. The truth is there is a lot that goes behind the scenes psychologically when people view your content. First off, what is your content bringing the viewer? Second, is your message simple and concise? Third, is your content engaging, exciting and fun? These are all questions you need to ask yourself. You can sit and post all kinds of random stuff all day and call it “good” but the truth is quality over quantity will win every time. Don’t expect people to engage if you did not take your time to make a high-quality post that brings them value. Also, with the ever elusive algorithm always changing the easiest and most effective way to build engagement is to run ads towards your best content so that new fans & customers naturally join your entire ecosystem.

Organic Vs. Paid...What You Must Know About Advertising Online


The times of organic posts casually blowing up is coming to an end. No longer will brands, influencers, and advertisers be able to just post and hope for the best. Soon enough we will be left with two options, and let me tell you one is easier than the other. We can either choose to grind organic posts, engage with everyone’s content and attempt to master the phantom-like algorithm that changes very often on platforms like Facebook & Instagram. Or, we can take the path of least resistance and pay platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube and Google to display our content in front of those that choose to use their platforms for free.

Something that all of us need to keep in mind is that we cannot expect these social platforms to just do the work for us. They built massive empires that we can leverage to advertise our products and services in a cost-effective, results-driven way that decimates what traditional marketing methods can achieve. Truthfully now is the time to be grateful, because you can simply pay money to these platforms to boost brand awareness, create viral videos and drive your ROI through the roof…but before we can do that we need to understand the fundamental difference between Organic and Paid traffic.

  1. Organic Traffic- Traffic that occurs naturally on social media/search engines through people stumbling across your brand by chance or through reference by friends, peers or other brands.
  2. Paid Traffic- Traffic that you pay for that is targeted directly at the consumers you want engaging with your brand. You do this by building advertising campaigns through the back end advertising platforms of Facebook, Google, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn etc…

Now that we are aware of the fundamental difference between Organic vs. Paid traffic we can go into more detail about the benefits of these two marketing methods. Essentially, organic posts are the posts you create that people who follow you or like your page will see. The truth is, even if they do follow or like your page Facebook & Instagram gives priority to advertisers who spend money on their platforms versus the casual brand who doesn’t pay for traffic. Organic posts will only take one so far and the further along we go into more people using paid ads the more likely organic posts and content will be drowned out. Facebook, Instagram, Youtube & Google have become not only places where you can connect with friends and search for products, but they have become platforms where brands can take their social awareness to the next level. It would be silly to completely stop posting organically as it maintains that authentic relationship with your current fans, but if your truly looking to increase ROI and do it effectively through social media/search engine marketing you must start leveraging paying for ads.

To say it simply you have to put some skin in the game and spend money to create money. Paid traffic is a great way to boost your brand’s awareness, and you’d be surprised at what type of companies can turn their business around by simply advertising online. For example, one of our clients runs a medical education company that sells courses online. They are extremely niche and most people would disagree that you can reach doctors, clinicians, and physicians that are interested in taking courses about lymphedema via Facebook. Honestly, this couldn’t be further than the truth as we got clients results like this through paid traffic…(See Image Below)



The truth is paid traffic works…All we had to do was capture one solid video of our clients brand story, ask them questions about their target market, and build the ad-set on the back end of Facebook’s ads manager. Of course, there were ups and downs, challenges to face and so on but if a niche client like this can thrive by marketing online I’m sure 98% of others businesses out there would as well. You really just have to ask yourself if what you’re doing currently to market your brand isn’t working then why are you doing it? The truth is phones are mobile billboards that your potential customers spend upwards of 5 hours a day buying things on, scrolling through social sites and so on. It’s time to take advantage of this tool before it becomes extremely expensive like traditional marketing.
